Master Bedroom Wallpaper Removal Test

We’ve been away for a few mini breaks to Bath and Brighton, and had guests to stay recently… but this weekend we had the weekend to ourselves.

As it was a damp and gloomy Saturday morning, we decided to remove the wall paper on one of the master bedroom walls – just to see how difficult it would be. Luckily there was only one layer of wallpaper, unlike the multiple layers we found in our old dining room (remember the crazy wallpaper we found here?!). Consequently we made quick work of the task and were finished in about 1.5 hours, including the tidy up and restoring our bedroom back to ‘normal’.

(Notice the somewhat odd position of our existing radiator on the middle of this vast ‘ideal-for-wardrobes’ wall! I am looking forward to eventually having the pipework extended beneath the floorboards and two smaller radiators positioned neatly beneath the windows instead.)
