Alex and I were away last week on a little trip to Riga and the nearby national park in Latvia. The city is beautiful, even on an overcast day, and is filled with the most incredible Art Nouveau architecture on every street. Admittedly these buildings are rather more ornate than anything that we have planned for our simple Victorian terrace in Camberwell, but I can still take inspiration from the beautiful soft colours, geometric lines and elegantly curved patterns. Here are a few highlights from the city.
